This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service as we continue to expand our impact.

About the Account Manager Role

As an Account Manager at AMP, you’ll be at the heart of our client relationships, working directly with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. This role requires a passion for client service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communications and expectations.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and follow-up of client projects and events.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Track client goals, progress, and performance, providing strategic recommendations to improve outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing client relationships, including upselling and additional services.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in account management or a client-facing role, ideally within an association or professional services setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and CRM software (Salesforce, iMIS, or similar systems are a plus).
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Kathleen grew up in the New Orleans area before attending Louisiana State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on Marketing.  She and her husband, Michael, reside in Baton Rouge with their two girls, Evelyn and Josephine.

AMP’s services encompass administration, event planning, board support, and membership management, all designed to empower associations to achieve their missions effectively.

AMP Strategic Planning Retreat

The AMP team met in December for a Strategic Planning Retreat.  It was an exciting and productive opportunity for our team to come together and set the course for the future. Over the course of the retreat, we engaged in collaborative discussions, identified key opportunities for growth, and developed actionable goals to drive our success in the coming year. With a focus on alignment, innovation, and teamwork, the retreat was a vital step in ensuring AMP is agile, client-focused, and ready to tackle new challenges. We’re energized and excited to implement the strategies we’ve crafted to building on our momentum.
